According to a report from Bloomberg, Sony has reduced the production outlook of the PS5 due to the ongoing chip shortage. Sony cut its expectations for the current fiscal year by 1 million units. The original production forecast aimed for 16 million units. It has now been lowered to 15 million units. This is largely due to the ongoing chip shortage, along with a shortage of other parts.
