Oreo Pokemon Collaboration Will Appear in September

The official Twitter account for Oreo cookies teased its next crossover. Apparently, some special designs are on the way. While it didn’t come right out and say there will be Pokemon themed cookies, everything about the announcement suggests we’ll see Oreos with those designs in September 2021.

Here’s the Pokemon and Oreo teaser. No Pokemon are named. However, the emojis used suggest Pikachu and starters could appear. There’s a lightning bolt in the first sentence and electricity surrounding the cookie. It also uses emojis of a leaf, fire, and water drop. This could mean characters like Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle could appear.

There have been plenty of Pokemon food products released over the years. For example, there have been Pokemon Eggos and Betty Crocker Pokemon fruit snacks.

This also comes in the midst of the Pokemon 25th anniversary celebration. There will be a Pokemon 25 album with songs from artists like Katy Perry. And in October 2021, there will be a Pokemon Trading Card Game Celebrations expansion honoring the series and offering new versions of classic cards.

A September 2021 launch is being teased for the Oreo Pokemon cookies
