Here’s a surprising (and rare) deal for the week: eBay Deals has PlayStation Vita WiFi on sale for only $139.99. The deal has been available as early as 8AM Pacific this morning and has sold through over 200 units as of writing. (Update: now sold through 480+, we’ve also found that total unit count is 500, so it’ll be sold out soon).
These are new in box units with shipping being free in the US (Hawaii and Alaska are even included!). The powerseller looks to be a typical electronics wholesaler, shipping is estimated to be around May 25th to June 2nd depending on your location. Note also that this is the PCH-2001 model for those wondering (NA region).
We don’t have any quantity count so its a crap shoot when stock will sell out, but we can’t imagine there to be too many. The last time we spot a PS Vita at this price was way back in Dec 2015 (from a reputable retailer anyways). With the PS TV already ending production, many have also screamed about the Vita’s eventual demise. But as of writing there are still over a dozen Vita titles coming out later this year (we’re counting starting from May). We wouldn’t think much into this sale until you start seeing multiple retailers giving Vita the price chop treatment.
