Since last years release you’ve pretty much been stuck paying $599 for the Oculus Rift or at least $399 for the PlayStation VR. Fast forward to today and what is a deal for a VR headset? No movement for the PS VR but this week it’s finally well stocked at GameStop for the usual $399 list price or at Best Buy for the February released VR World + Controllers bundle (hey, you’re avoiding inflated eBay prices finally). The Oculus on the other hand has gone cheaper with a $100 price drop at the Microsoft Store to $499 for the base headset or an even larger $200 price drop to $599 at Best Buy when you buy the bundled Touch Controllers and 7 games.
This week’s big PS4 release is unquestionably Horizon Zero Dawn and while you may think deals would be light on a Triple-A platform exclusive, a discount is available at GMG. At the digital retailer, the PSN digital copy gets a small nip down to $55.99 for the Standard Edition and $65.99 for the Deluxe – both are instant delivery game keys – plus you’ll avoid sales tax in the US. Another decent Horizon Zero Dawn deal is at Dell where they’re throwing at you a bonus $25 Gift Card – a bonus worth 42% the game’s $60 value.
Last but not least, for fans of the Neptunia series that have yet to acquire a copy of MegaTagmension Blanc + Neptune VS Zombies on PC can do so on the cheap but you’ll need to hurry. For 24- hours only at Bundle Stars the price has been reduced from $30 to a mere $5.99. This is a new historic low price for the Steam copy of the game.
