Hobby Max Japan opened pre-orders for an Evangelion RADIO EVA Asuka figure, which features the character in FILA-branded streetwear. The figure is currently available for pre-order on the AmiAmi website and will cost ¥20,350 (about $179). The figure will ship sometime in December 2022 and is part of the RADIO EVA line of Evangelion clothes, and merchandise. [Thanks, Hobby Watch!]
The 1/7 scale figure features Eva pilot Asuka Langley in FILA streetwear that uses her signature red color. She wears a jacket, sling bag, and FILA shoes, and also carries a winter cap. Each clothing item is highly detailed, even down to individual straps and zippers. Additionally, there is also a limited-edition grey-colored version that is only available on the RADIO EVA online store.
Notably, the figure design is based on illustrations from the launch of the RADIO EVA Shibuya store. Because of this, most of her clothing is based on real-life products available at the official RADIO EVA website. A second figure based on another illustration is also available via the AmiAmi store. Other RADIO EVA figures include ones of Kaworu, Shinji, Mari, and Rei in casual streetwear.
