Don’t want to spend $550 to $2,500 for a basic Nintendo Switch console on eBay? (Yes, those are real scalper price ranges we’re seeing as of writing). You can now skip buying cardboard boxes on eBay without the Switch console inside and order from a retailer online that’s actually available for purchase.

While the Nintendo Switch is basically sold out online everywhere (sans aforementioned inflated prices), you can now actually “pre-order” a Nintendo Switch “Starter Bundle” at GameStop with delivery date of mid-April.  At a cool price tag of $599, this bundle isn’t cheap – but will let you secure a unit from a gaming retailer instead of eBay scalpers.

Priced at $599.99, GameStop’s Nintendo Switch Starter Bundle comes of course with the Switch console system along with three games: The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild along with its expansion pass; Just Dance 2017; and Snipperclips. In terms of accessories, you’ll receive a Joy-Con charging dock; Hybrid cover; Sandisk 64GB SD Card (with adapter); and power kit AC-adapter.

Add all those items up and you arrive at the $600 price tag that GameStop has priced this bundle at. We’ve seen similar move by GameStop in years past (as recently as the PlayStation VR) where they bundle other accessories and games so you can “move ahead of the line” so to speak, to ensure you get an in-demand console system. This time however, we’re looking at delivery date by April 16.

If you 100% need to have a Switch by next month, there are worse ways of going about it. You might be paying a bit more for some items you weren’t planning to purchase – but at least you’re also avoiding tossing money into reseller’s hand. Lastly, in terms of additional bundled games and accessories – the items chosen by GameStop aren’t too unreasonable.
