There’s big news regarding Elden Ring. Ahead of the 2022 Taipei Game Show, Bandai Namco confirmed there’d be news about it there. It turns out two important details came up. Since Elden Ring is now gold, FromSoftware sent out the master version of the game. This means it is functionally complete. It also means that there shouldn’t be any delays and it should launch as expected on February 25, 2022.

As for how much time someone could spend playing Elden Ring, Kitao said it could take about 30 hours to beat Elden Ring. This is a rough estimate. Kitao also mentioned, “In fact, with the world being so vast, the game is designed so it can be cleared without necessarily experiencing everything.”

Here’s the full Elden Ring discussion from the Taipei Game Show 2022. A Q&A portion appears at the 26 minute mark. That’s when Kitao confirms there will be replayable elements, went over how time and weather will affect things, and discussed event scenes.

Elden Ring will release for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC on February 25, 2022.
