Well, that Amazon UK listing for a new Re:Zero game wasn’t some sort of mistake. Spike Chunsoft has confirmed it will bring Re:Zero -Starting Life in Another World- The False Royal Selection Candidate westward as Re:Zero – Starting Life in Another World: The Prophecy of the Throne. It will come to the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC in English in Winter 2020. It has the same release window in Japan.
In this new Re:Zero game, players follow an original story supervised by the original author, Tappei Nagatsuki, that is set a month after Subaru came to the new world. A new, sixth candidate has come to try and call dibs on Lugunica’s throne. It is up to players to find out which candidate isn’t actually destined to rule.

Spike Chunsoft also confirmed there will be a Re:Zero: The Prophecy of the Throne $59.99 Day One Edition and $89.99 Collector’s Edition. The Day One Edition comes with the game and a collection of four pins of Subaru, Emilia, Rem, and a new character. The Collector’s Edition has the game, the pins, a Steelbook case, an art book, and the official soundtrack.
Re:Zero: The Prophecy of the Throne will come to the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC in Winter 2020. The official website is now open. The previous Re:Zero game was Death or Kiss.
