Yes, Atlus is still going. Of the 214 Shin Megami Tensei V demon digest videos, we’re at 211. This time, another spoiler-filled segment is available. It focuses on Khonsu, the Egyptian god who appears in a somewhat large role in SMT V. As fitting his nature, he’s a Bethel Egypt representative in the game.
As with many of these recent SMT V trailers, the one for Khonsu features spoilers for the mid- and endgame. After the initial summoning, we see both story segments and a battle. His unique attack Karnak+3 comes up. So does Agidyne+4 and Dark Sword+3. Should you face him, make sure you have ice spells on hand.
This isn’t the first time Khonsu got special attention. SMT V Character Designer Masayuki Doi talked about him and his design. He also pointed out how motion-capture was used to better capture his movements.
