Seven’s Code Ending Services After One Year

Services for the mobile game, Seven’s Code, have come to an end. After launching on October 21, 2019, the game’s intended year-long journey is riding into the sunset. However, fans will still be able to download the game and continue playing. (Thanks, 4Gamer!)

The game’s official Twitter account made the announcement. It is also running a promotion where two people at random will receive a signed card by actress Manami Fuji. To enter the lottery, fans must follow the official Twitter account and retweet the below tweet. The promotion will run until October 28, 2020, at 11:59 pm (JST).

Seven’s Code is a “rhythmic novel action game” created by Naoki Maeda’s company, Unlimited Studio. Maeda is a music composer known for many Konami games, including Dance Dance Revolution. Moving forward, a subscription service that allows fans to listen to music from the game at their leisure will begin starting on October 28, 2020. Members of the staff also held a three-hour-long livestream to commemorate the end of its services.

The co-developer and publisher, Applibot, is also working on another mobile game readers may have heard of: NieR Re[in]carnation. The company is currently developing the upcoming title, which held its closed beta this past summer.

Seven’s Code is available now on iOS and Android devices.
