Bandai Namco has debuted a new trailer for Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris, which reveals that Sinon, Leafa, Lisbeth, and Silica will be returning in the upcoming action game. You can catch a first look at them in a new video. [Thanks, GameSpot!]

Sinon, Leafa, and the others appear near the end of the trailer, while the trailer itself is mostly focused on showing off context-free scenes from the game’s single-player story mode. Several important scenes include the reveal that new heroine Medina Orthinanos will destroy her Seal of the Right Eye at some point in the story and the Integrity Knights will all team up for a fight at some point. We also hear the game’s theme song, “Scar/let” by ReoNA.
For those unfamiliar with Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris, the game will take place after the end of the first season of the anime, but then diverges from the main plot. The story will focus on Kirito, his friends, and mysterious woman named Medina whom is called a savior by some, due to her supposedly having the power to resurrect the Administrator. Gameplay will focus on skills and combo attacks with other party members, and the game will feature a wide amount of character customization.
Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris will release on July 10, 2020 for the PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
