Some expected Street Fighter V server maintenance won’t be going as planned. Capcom took to Twitter to announce a delay. While some repairs and updates were supposed to be applied in late April 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic and new work-from-home situations have resulted in a delay.
Back at the beginning of April 2020, Capcom announced a member of its staff had contracted COVID-19. About a week later, the company announced a work-from-home directive that would last until May 6, 2020.
Two specific issues were due to be addressed with the late April 2020 Street Fighter V server maintenance. One had to do with the ranked match battle confirmation screen. The antenna display, which would show your opponent’s connection quality, was displaying incorrect information. It would say it the response was not as good as it would be. Inward hitbox issues were also on the docket to be repaired.

Unfortunately, this will delay a few bug fixes, including the antenna display on the battle confirmation screen and fixes for inward hitbox issues with specific characters.

Street Fighter V isn’t the only game to be hit with delays due to the pandemic. Capcom also announced that Monster Hunter World: Iceborne’s Title Update 4 won’t launch as planned. It is the update that would bring Alatreon, the Blazing Black Dragon, and its associated equipment to the game.
Street Fighter V is available for the PlayStation 4 and PC.
