Two new Tekken 8 character trailers appeared nearly one after the other, reintroducing Paul Phoenix and Marshall Law. Both are characters who debuted in the 1994 fighting game. The latest videos show how they’ve evolved now that they’ll be back for the newest round.
First, here’s the Marshall Law Tekken 8 trailer. It begins with a look at his character art. Then, we see his introduction. After that, we get to watch him beat up Paul Phoenix with punches, kicks, and nunchucks. He’s been a series staple and appeared in almost every entry.
As mentioned before, this is the second Tekken 8 character trailer to appear in the last week. Bandai Namco also confirmed Paul Phoenix will show up last week. He fights with his fists, as usual, and shows up to the match on his motorcycle. He’s continually appeared in multiple entries as well.
Bandai Namco’s really ramped up character reveals as of late. In February 2023, it showed off Nina Williams, Kazuya Mishima, and Jin Kazama. It also confirmed working Arika is working on the fighting game as well. Its contributions will involve work on its multiplayer.
Tekken 8 is in development for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and PC via Steam.
