The trailer starts with a few shots of a wasteland before an Armored Core rises from the rubble. There are several scenes of them fighting each other or bombarding buildings. According to the description, you will be able to assemble your own original mecha and freely traverse three-dimensional maps. You will also be able to perform dynamic moves in action, between shooting from a distance or attacking from close range.

The Armored Core series is a third-person shooter in which the player takes control of large combat robots called Armored Cores. You can fight against other pilots and obtain awards that way. It first began in 1997, with the first Armored Core appearing on the PlayStation. In 2018, FromSoftware hinted that it would be developing a new entry to the series, though there was no concrete information until now.

Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon will come out on the PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, and Windows PC via Steam some time in 2023.
