The Crash Bandicoot Mobile Game Is Starting to Run Onto Devices

Back in February 2020, hints about a Crash Bandicoot mobile game appeared and suggested an endless runner would be dashing onto Android and Apple iOS devices. Now, the Crash Bandicoot Mobile product page is up on Google Play and people have gradually been able to begin running around Wumpa Island with him. [Thanks, Resetera!]

Dr. Neo Cortex has summoned enemies from all different worlds to Wumpa Island to attack Crash and cause damage. It is up to you to help Crash defeat and send them back by racing through stages. As you do, you’ll acquire points and resources. You can then head to Coco’s lab to invest them to get Crash new weapons and items to help him successfully race through even more levels.

While this might seem like a stretch for Crash, he has quite a history of mobile adventures. For example, two of the first appeared in 2004, an action game named Crash Twinsanity and a racing game called Crash Nitro Kart. Prior to this mobile affair, the last release was 2010’s Crash Bandicoot Nitro Kart 2.

Here’s some initial footage from OGL Gameplays that shows how the endless runner looks.

Crash Bandicoot Mobile is beginning to roll out on Android devices in some regions.
