Need something to do during the long Memorial Day weekend? GMG is running a “Deals of the Dead” sale with a bunch of horror themed titles on sale, including a big batch of Resident Evil titles at bargain prices. The newest low price in the RE batch includes Resident Evil 6 at $6 (though some may argue that’s $6 too many).
Other noteworthy deal from GMG this weekend includes the upcoming PC port of Biohazard: Umbreall Corps (and its Deluxe Edition). Known as Umbrella Corps in the US, the spin-off title is a multiplayer co-op shooter pitting gamers against zombies and other players. A clear departure from the usual RE genre, the list price is coming in at a more reasonable $30 for the standard. At GMG you can use a 25% off code to pick up Umbrella Corps for $22.49.
Finally on the console hardware side of things, there are two good deals still available which we’ve mentioned last week: a PlayStation 4 bundling with Uncharted 4 and Uncharted Collection for $359 from Newegg, and a brand new PlayStation Vita Slim WiFi priced at $139.99 – also on eBay Deals. The Vita was suppose to sold out of the sale price at 500 units, but it has been running strong since we mentioned it on May 23.
Update 5/30: Added some good deals on Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain – which is on sale for PC/Steam at $24, while the Xbox One/PS4 is on sale for $25, and finally the 360/PS3 gets a discount to $15. The Best Buy deals ends later tonight.
