Characters who sometimes play larger roles in Shin Megami Tensei games and spin-offs got their own trailers today. Atlus shared the SMT V videos for Setanta and Thoth. Each one is a staple that’s appeared frequently over the years.
The Setanta SMT V video showed up first. He appeared prominently in games like SMT IV as well. The demon is based on one from Celtic myths and is best known for his evolved form. He uses Matarukaja+2 and Mazanma+1 in the trailer.
Next up is the SMT V version of Thoth. This Egyptian god featured prominently in SMT IV as well and is known for Almighty and Expel skills. Which comes into play here too. In this video, he uses Megido+1 and Hamaon+2.
In case someone hasn’t seen the over 150 videos so far, Atlus intends to release 214 SMT V demon videos. By the time the game releases, 214 will look at each character. Here are the 20 SMT V segments that appeared before the ones for Setanta and Thoth.
