Next Tuesday, March 21 Koei Tecmo’s open world hunting action title Toukiden 2 will make its way to the PS4 and PC for the usual $60 list price. PC gamers are getting treated on Steam with a promotional pre-order 10% off incentive, but while that’s not a bad offer, the same Steam game are going much cheaper at GMG with Toukiden 2 slashed 23% to $45.99. As of writing, that’s the best price online from an authorized Koei Tecmo distributor.
Accompany Toukiden 2 on Tuesday is a much bigger title in Mass Effect: Andromeda. The BioWares RPG will launch on all major platform from PC to console. If you’re a big time Mass Effect fan that have looked past its infamous animation issues, the best console deal is probably at Dell. The computer retailer is offering Mass Effect: Andromeda with their usual big $25 Gift Card as a pre-order incentive for the Xbox One, PS4, and PC. For those who prefer digital, GMG is also selling the Origin key with a discount to $48 – the caveat being where GMG is sourcing the key as the UK retailer is offering a March 23 European release date – so it’ll be your call whether or not the two-day delay is worth the savings. (Point is moot if you’re European).
Last week’s big RPG release was NieR: Automata on PC. GMG is still selling Day One Edition keys (Day One = extra customization DLC) at an 18% discount to $49.29. Reviews on NieR were a bit mixed, with some claiming the game ran smooth as butter, while others were having a white screen of death experience. One theme running is those PC gamers with AMD video cards were experiencing the most trouble – so we’d suggest reading into issues before picking the PC port up.
