Watch Dogs 2 has surprised us in a way, in that console gamers are not getting the kind of cash offers we’ve grown accustom to for pre-order games. Normally, you’ll find at least a $10 Gift Card bonus somewhere, but this round it’s not happening except for Xbox One gamers at the Microsoft Store. There you’ll get a $10 Gift Code sent via email for your next Microsoft Store purchase, and the offer is valid for the Xbox One Download code for Watch Dogs 2 as well, meaning you can pre-load the game and start playing right away.
On PC Watch Dogs 2 takes on a 20% discount, now this we’ve seen before. The only retailer in the US we know of giving a discount is GMG where you’ll slash 20% off the price tag dropping to $47.99 (same discount valid in Europe too). The Deluxe and Gold Editions of Watch Dogs 2 are also getting discounts, but the percentage savings isn’t quite as high with the Deluxe being 18% off and Gold 16% off.
At GMG, they are running an Idea Factory sale on Hyperdimension titles at decent prices for the Steam copy of the game. Fairy Fencer F is on sale for 65% off to $10.49, while others are mostly at 70% off. New low includes Hyperdimensino Neptunia U: Action Unleahshed, and the spinoff Hyperdevotion Noire Goddess Black Heart. Both are only $8.99 until Monday morning.
