It’s a lovely week for jamming some wind. A Windjammers 2 demo is on the way. People will be able to try out the frisbee-chucking game and maybe even make some goals starting on June 16, 2020 on Steam. However, as it is a part of the Steam Game Festival: Summer Edition, it will only be available until June 22, 2020.
While it will only be available for a limited time, there will be plenty of reasons to try out the Windjammers 2 demo. A big one being multiplayer. Both local and online opportunities will be supported during the trial.
A trailer has been released to prepare people for the trial. It looks at the disc-throwing gameplay and shows the different playable characters, which are Max Hurricane, Sophie De Lys, and Wessel. It also offers peeks at three of the arenas that will be there once the demo goes live on Steam: Beach, Ring, and Stadium.
Windjammers 2 was first announced back in August 2018 and, at the time, had a 2019 launch window. It is currently on track for a Nintendo Switch, PC, and Google Stadia debut in 2020, and you could hear about it from Stephane Perez in Siliconera’s interview. The Windjammers 2 demo will be available between June 16-22, 2020.
