Update 8/4: The retailers have sold out completely on the two Xbox One S deals.
Today a “new” console is born, and to us a deal is given. Only edition available of the newly minted Xbox One S is the 2TB Launch Edition for $399.99. Although straight up discounts won’t be happening in the near future, we’re finding two decent release day Xbox One S deals.
The first discount is on NewEgg’s eBay store. At Newegg’s “outlet” – they are selling the Xbox One S at list price with a big bonus of three free games. Your freebies are: Halo 5: Guardians Limited Edition, Doom, and Quantum Break. If you bought all three games separately at their lowest historic price, they will still tally up to about $111 in value.
The next deal is via Antonline’s eBay store. There you’ll find a bonus $25 eBay Gift Card tacked onto the $399 console with free ship in continental US. Big savings in sales tax is available for most as its imposed in California and Georgia only.
Both retailers will get you the console within about a week. No fast shipping options are available at Antonline, while Newegg offers expedited shipping at $31. We’ll avoid this given Newegg isn’t exactly slow at shipping products. For most customers in the US, expect arrival on Tuesday, August 9th.
The bonus eBay Gift card from Antonline is more of a gift code. You will receive this gift code in your email 4 weeks after purchase. Newegg’s free game bonuses comes along with the system and are all physical copies. Which Xbox One S is selling better? Newegg has sold 400 units while Antonline has sold only about 130 units. No surprise as the $111 bonus value is beating out the $25 gift card.
