Younewb pointed us in the right direction to a livejournal page with seven pages of Kingdom Hearts II: Final Mix Famitsu scans. The scans on the English version of the Japanese game (confusing huh?) don’t reveal too much that’s new. Sora sports a new Christmas outfit when he’s adventuring with Jack Skellington and there is a new sidequest where you have to eliminate a bunch of the black mushroom heartless. The game also comes packaged with Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories, a PS2 remake of the GBA game. Besides using the graphics engine that KH II used reaction commands are added in the game to make it more interesting. Obviously Square-Enix isn’t ending the Kingdom Hearts series anytime soon and I can’t wait to see the secret ending for Final Mix, which will probably drop huge hints on the next game.

Yeah, we tend to get the short end of the stick when it comes to this stuff. Though it’s unlikely, we can always hope Square-Enix changes their minds.
is there no possibility that square-enix will release KHII-Final mix in america?
I heard that It would be released in America in Fall 2007. I think I heard this from IGN or Gamespot. Is this true?

I’ve been a Kingdom Hearts fan since the first game came to North American shores, and I’m kind of dissapointed that Square-Enix hasn’t chosen to share this new installment in the series with America. It’s just unfortunate, since I know that I personally would greatly enjoy playing Chain of Memories on the PS2. Oh well, I suppose I could move to Japan…
