Crackdown (not) demo coming to Xbox Live on Thursday

By Spencer . January 16, 2007 . 3:43pm

Microsoft announced that a demo of Crackdown will be distributed over the Xbox Live Marketplace on Thursday, January 18. Gamers can make co-op matches in Pacific City where they can team up with other people and play over Xbox Live. In the final game players will be able to jump in games already in session. Another minor change in the beta is that agent leveling up will be enhanced so gamers can get a better feel for the special abilities in the game. While there is some excitement about the release of Crackdown, the game has been largely overshadowed by the Halo 3 beta code that comes with the game.

Edit: Update Microsoft sent another release saying that the Crackdown demo would not be coming this Thursday, instead it will be released sometime in January.
