Rumors aside, a microphone for the Wii is in development

There have been rumors floating around about EA using a Wii microphone in an upcoming Harry Potter game. While this may or may not be truth, a Wii microphone is definitely coming out. Disney Interactive announced that a Wii game based on High School Musical will come bundled with the mic. In High School Musical players sing through the Disney Channel movie either alone or with a friend. If Electronic Arts is planning to use a microphone in any of their games the peripheral is readily available.
