You can’t help but love these special DSs and PSPs Japan gets, whether it be for a particular game or just a particular color. Today, GameWatch has unveiled an image (seen above) of just how sleek and cool the Subarashiki Kono Sekai DS Lite will look with the artwork done by none other than Tetsuya Nomura. Much like Final Fantasy III DS and Final Fantasy XII Revenant Wings DS had their own unique name, Subarashiki Kono Sekai’s special DS Lite box will be titled "Wonderful World Edition". No word on how much it’ll cost though; but if the Final Fantasy III DS Lite and Revenant Wings DS Lite are indication, it may ust retail somewhere around $300.
Would you buy this special DS Lite? If I didn’t have the FFIII DS Lite, I probably would. After all, I could use a new DS Lite after playing too much Ouendan and Ouendan 2…you know how that goes.
It is a cool design, but I would not pay that much. I agree with aoshi00 that they come out a little too often to buy a new one each time a limited edition one comes out.

Pretty cool design.. but I wouldn’t shell out that much cash just for a limited edition since they keep cranking these things out. Before long Nintendo might have another upgraded Lite.
I own a graphite DS and have held off getting a Lite for the longest time, but finally traded in my SP (for $30) in gamestop last week to get an onyx one, since the SP is dark as all heck and useless anyway.
