E3 Sneak Peek – Trauma Center: New Blood

Atlus is developing a brand new game in the Trauma Center series with two new doctors Marcus and Valerie for the Wii. Details are trickling in about Trauma Center: New Blood, but as you can see from the screenshot there is co-op play. Other new features include widescreen support and online score ranking system.

I’m glad Atlus is continuing the Trauma Center series. Even though Trauma Center: Second Opinion was a “wii-make”, it was my favorite launch title. Trauma Center went a step beyond shaking and swinging the remote like a sword. The control system immersed players into the experience, something that few Wii games have been able to achieve.

“…to the DDS”? I see what they did there.

  • OOOh can’t wait for co-op. It’s just going to be like Grey’s Anatomy! Minus all the making out in the elevators.

I didn’t finish Second Opinion yet, but that was a great game. W/ this and the other surgery game on the DS, that’s lots of operation. It’s interesting this time the characters are actually American, instead of being turned to Americans during localization.

It’s interesting to me that the characters are not only American…

They have actual ethnicities this time! Sure, maybe, the darker skinned character trying to “find the rhythm in her soul” is a just a tad bit stereotyped, but maybe that’s a line that’s subject to change…

… Nice. Although I thought the DDS was a bomb and was trying to figure out why a bomb was in the patient… XD;;; Then I figured out why. What better way to get what they want? Delphi could put a BOMB in a GUILT patient. Give em two for one. XD Then I realized it was a pacemaker. *deadpan*

And question, too. There’s got to be some weird-cult thing like Delphi in this one, right? Cause the GUILT was fun to operate on. Specially the Savato strain… Anyhow, rambling aside, I cannot wait for this to come out.

  • Just a quick clarification DDS stands for Drug Delivery System in Trauma Center: New Blood.
