Namco Bandai is no stranger to micotransactions. If you need any proof just look at the list of character outfits in Culdcept Saga and the lengthy amount of optional content for the Idolm@ster. So what extras can Namco Bandai sell for Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation? Planes and each one costs 200 Microsoft Points ($2.50).
A pretty hefty price to pay for a Halloween themed fighter and a graphically updated plane from Ace Combat 2. On the plus side one of the planes is free so you can grab the F-16C Scarface Emblem and ignore the rest.
