Ubisoft picks up Protothea? Possible WiiWare shmup?

I admit I’ve been digging up data on potential casual games from Ubisoft like Dinoz and Gourmet Chef, probably to the chagrin of core gamers. However, Ubisoft picked up something that looks decent, a PC shmup called Protothea (pictured). Digital Builders, a studio in Argentina developed the title, which according to the ESRB is coming to the Wii care of Ubisoft.

Since Protothea is a budget PC game with an under $20 price tag it sounds more appropriate for WiiWare rather than a full retail release. However, Majesco is remaking Tumiki Fighters as a retail Wii game, so anything is possible.
