Subtitled Retro Game Master DVDs seek distributor

gcxdvd.jpgThe NYAFF premiere of Game Center CX, soon to be known as Retro Game Center, isn’t a one shot deal. I got in touch with a Retro Game Master representative that clarified the screenings are the start of the KACHO in North America.

“They have produced the English subb'd DVDS and are now looking for a US dist for them,” a spokesperson told me. Since we’re going to see Retro Game Master in a Best Buy (eventually), we just might see the Game Center CX game Namco Bandai released last year in English. We may even see the show on G4, which could use some more video game TV.

What excites me the most is the that this could be a bridge for releasing the Game Center CX game in the US.

The DS game is a lot of fun. I’d definately rebuy a localized copy to get the most out of the virtual magazines and to ease play of the RPG.
