Namco Bandai is returning to the origins of the Dragonball franchise with an adventure game starring Goku as a child and Bulma. In Dragonball DS you get to control both characters as you search for the Dragonballs. Unlike the recent wave of Dragonball Z fighting games, Dragonball DS looks more like Legend of Zelda: The Phantom Hourglass. You drag Goku on a map and poke creatures with the stylus to attack. No energy blast battles here, just stylus spinning, stick wielding action. Take a look.

Looks fantastic. With the upcoming Hollywood movie based on the original series (correct me if I’m wrong) there’s absolutely no reason not to localize this.
They are localizing for Europe… Atari will undoubtedly do the honors here.
Wow this game looks so good! And I don’t even like dragon ball/Z.
I know the game looks good from the screenshots before, but even better in motion. Usually the blank between the two DS screens means the annoying disappearing bullets (or balls in Arkanoid), but it’s so cleverly used here when Bulma lifted up her jammies to flash Roshi to get him to nose-bleed, lol.
Yes, the opening song for DB is definitely nostalgic, I can’t wait for this game, seems even more faithful to the story than DB Advanced Adventure. Haven’t heard Tsuru Hiromi (Bulma)’s cute voice in a long time too, she’s Naomi Hunter in MGS4.
Looks pretty good actually. Very much better than the GBA DragonBall/Z/GT games (of course).
