Brave Fencer Musashi was released as a downloadable PsOne game in Japan last month, but it only worked on PSPs. Someone must have fixed any compatibility issues because Brave Fencer Musashi is now listed as a PS3/PSP release. The updated version of Brave Fencer Musashi joins a lineup of five new games selected for the PlayStation Archives.

Sony brought the sequel to Aquanaut’s Holiday to remind Japan of the franchise before the PlayStation 3 version comes out in September. Se Mobile released Project Gaiaray and it looks like a clone of Virtual On. Square Enix dug Soukaigi, an action RPG, from Squaresoft’s Playstation library. Soukaigi was never released outside of Japan so you can try it out for only 600 yen ($5.50) if you have a PSP. Like Brave Fencer Musashi previously, Soukaigi is only PSP compatible now.

Here’s the full list of PlayStation Archives out today:

You got my hopes up, at first, for having Brave Fencer Musashi in the North American PSN store ._.
