Street Fighter IV Comes Home This Winter, Adds Sakura

A blurb in Sony’s PlayStation Tokyo Game Show Catalogue shows pictures of Sakura who was just announced as a console character and mentions a winter 2009 release window. Right now this target is just for Japan, but don’t be surprised if Street Fighter IV comes out around the same time around the world. Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li comes around the same time, a perfect time for Capcom to capitalize on Street Fighter fever.

Sweet. Sakura's my favorite character, so I was hoping she'd appear somewhere.

I knew they'd be crazy not to put Sakura in the console version of SF4. Like Cammy, she's one of the most popular SF characters. I kind of thought they;d update her design with something like a college uniform, considering the passage of time.

Nice i haven't been able to use Sakura since mvc2!!

I like Sakura but, one thing annoys me with this SF:
-Ryu
-Ken
-Dan
-Gouki
-Gouken
-Sakura

They have basically the same set of moves. Oh i know purists will say that you don't play these characters the same way at all.
Anyway, i'm not a SF specialist (KOF is my dope) and for me the differences are not huge, and i just think it's a pity Capcom does not have more imagination...
