Klonoa Gains A Voice And Reverse Stages For A Wiimake

By Spencer . November 20, 2008 . 11:43am

As part of a full presentation overhaul Namco Bandai got Kumiko Watanabe who did the voice of Klonoa in Klonoa 2: Lunatea’s Veil to will reprise her role for Klonoa: Door to Phantomile. You can listen to Klonoa talk with words, Japanese words, instead of his Phantomile gibberish in this clip.

image Voices are a nice touch, but what about people that played the PsOne game? Namco Bandai has a few gameplay extending extras too. Bonus content in the Wii version of Klonoa: Door to Phantomile includes hidden costumes to find, a boss rush mode, and reverse stages to challenge players that memorized every jump. The difficult Extra Vision from the PsOne version is in the Klonoa Wiimake too and like the rest of the visions it will get a fresh coat of paint.

I really hope the best for this one, it is among my favorite games of all time (hence my username). The suggested character change isn’t for this is it because I really don’t want it to ruin what we have here.

And the new stuff is really cool. Reverse stages will add twice the content and Boss rush is always a welcome feature. Would any of the costumes be Namco related too? Like Tales character costumes or something?

And I hope Namco keeps the Japanese voice option, I like his voice there.

^ ditto on the Japanese voice. I read that Konami put in the option for Castlevania Judgment so I’m a bit more interested in that game now.
