Oh no, 5pb has another development hiccup. Item Getter, a loot collecting action RPG, was originally scheduled for February and now its release is getting pushed back until sometime in April.

5pb doesn’t mince words explaining Item Getter since it’s pretty much all about collecting items. There are 1,000 different kinds of raw materials in Item Getter that can be transformed into user created weapons which can then be traded over Nintendo Wi-Fi. Unlike other games you get to draw your own items and write descriptions too. Judging by the user created LittleBigPlanet content I expect to see a Mario hat, Chocobo shield, and a dozen phallic swords online if Item Getter comes out in North America. While none of 5pb’s games have been picked up for an international release yet Item Getter seems the most likely out of 5bp’s entire line up.

This looks awesome, but some depth outside the item collecting too. (Even though the center of the game is item collecting…). Such as lotsa cool dungeons, quests… etc.

This is definitely relevant to my interests. I want it to come to the US, but I’m not getting my hopes up.

5pb and St!ng are actually owned by the same parent company, Genterprise. They also own Suzak surprisingly… given the close relationship between Atlus USA and St!ng, I sort of wonder if 5pb stuff like Item Getter or the Cave 360 ports might not make it over after all (if they pass product approval committees anyway).
