Monster Hunter G Slides Into Wii This Spring

By Spencer . December 26, 2008 . 8:54am

image Shortly after the Famitsu story Capcom opened a site for the Wii version of Monster Hunter G and it has a few details about the release. You can play Monster Hunter G with the Classic Controller and go online. Monster Hunter G Wii supports four hunters at a time through network play. Also the game has been updated to include features not found in the PS2 version like sending items straight to your box.

Not sure if these features are enough to get anyone excited about a port, but to Capcom’s credit they haven’t announced a price for Monster Hunter G Wii. It might come out as a budget release like Resident Evil Zero or Resident Evil. Then again given the popularity of the Monster Hunter series in Japan it might not.

Excited? Not really. Unless they decide to distribute it outside Japan / include English menus, then we’d be talking.

  • Chow

Looks promising because it appears you at least have the option to use the Classic Controller.

  • You guys should check out the “Ask Capcom” section of the Capcom BBS for some very in-depth shooting in the dark analysis as to why they might be porting this over to Wii.

(A lot of us still can’t think of any good reasons)
