Is A Tekken 6 Ultimate Collectors Edition In The Works?

When Tekken 5 came out Namco Bandai released an Ultimate Collectors Edition bundle containing the game, a DVD case, and an arcade stick. Tekken 6 might get the same treatment.

In addition to the standalone game Gamestop lists Tekken 6 “with arcade stick” for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Unfortunately, the product page doesn’t tell us which company is making the arcade stick.

Could Hori be the manufacturer? Namco Bandai partnered with them for the Tekken 5 and Soulcalibur IV sticks. However, the bundle’s suggested retail price of $149.99 is a notch too high for a Fighting Stick EX2. Perhaps, Tekken 6 will come with the more deluxe Real Arcade Pro 3 (PS3) and Real Arcade Pro EX (360) sticks.

I had that T5 stick. It was difficult to modify so I eventually sold it, but it wasn’t a bad price for the whole package (about $70, I think).

Bought 2 of those for $20 a piece ~3 years back. It was great for practicing using a stick. Totally worth it.

I know I’m late, but those links don’t work anymore, nor is there any mention of this bundle on either GameStop anymore. Mistake maybe?

Gamestop probably took it down. We have a screencap of it though!
