Okamiden Trailer Shows Off Stylus Actions

Here’s our first glimpse of Chibiterasu and Issun running around to the Shinsuu Fields music in Okamiden. The trailer also gives you a quick look at the combat.

 

Any guesses for what the controls will be? I’m going to go with D-pad for movement and holding L for activating the brush. Regular attacks by tapping on an enemy, similar to Phantom Hourglass.

 

That leaves us with two questions:

 

1.How do you jump? Can you jump manually?

2. Will the face buttons be used for anything or will Capcom use them to provide left-handed controls like FPSes on DS?
