A bunch of old Gundam games are going back to retail with collectible Gundam 30th Anniversary Collection packaging.

Here’s a list of the games.

Dynasty Warriors Gundam 2 (PS3, Xbox 360, PS2)
Gundam 00: Gundam Meisters (PS2)
Gundam: Giren’s Ambition, Threat of Axis (PS2, PSP)
Gundam Battle Universe (PSP)
SD Gundam Generation Spirits (PS2)
Gundam MS Front 0079 (Wii)
Gundam Seed Destiny: Rengou vs. Z.A.F.T. Portable (PSP)
Gundam Seed Destiny: Rengou vs. Z.A.F.T. II Plus (PS2)

Think of this as something like a Gundam Greatest Hits collection. Each game is a bit cheaper and, other than the classy package art, unchanged. Namco Bandai’s Gundam 30th Anniversary Collection will march into stores on December 17.

Gundam Battle Universe the best game on that listing aside from me never playing Gundam 00: Gundam Meisters for PS2 and MS Front 0079 for Wii.Anyways. Right now Gundam Battle Universe is out of print/out of stock in PlayAsia, but once this is released the Japan version is 34.99 and Asian version is 29.99. If you don’t already own it it’s by far one of the best PSP games and has everything included that every other Gundam Battle game has in it.Maybe Namco Bandai can stop screwing other countries over and actually localize some Gundam games. On the PS2 there were tons of Gundam games localized, but once Gundam Crossfire/Target in Sight was released and sold like crap, because obviously being a terrible game, there has been nothing released in the US by Bandai that has the Gundam name. Those crappy Gundam Musou games don’t count(which were localized by Namco Bandai.) Stick to Romance of the Three Kingdoms, Koei, thank you.

Also localize Tales of VS. That’s all I want to ask from you Namco Bandai. Stop forcing me to import all your good games.

While I do agree Gundam Battle Universe was a great game, I’d rater see Gundam VS Gundam on the list for a reprint. It was just an overall better game than Battle Universe and had more mechs. I think Battle Universe did set the example though and we pushed in the right direction with GvG.

Too bad we haven’t seen any new VS games on console in a while now :(

This should be really just 3-5 games, with most of these titles thrown into some kind of related collection disc.

In other news, Gundam creator still hates us and gaming in general.

I still want MS Front 0079, it looked good enough, unlike most gundams.

Man…I read this and I thought I would expect something like Gundam Wing Endless Duel or something being ported to online. Do you know HOW MUCH I would play that if that existed?

I mean I do already with the advent of SNES emulation but geez…

Man…I read this and I thought Gundam Wing: Endless Duel was going to be part of it. You know how much I’d play that if it was brought up to next-gen and put online?

I mean…I already do with SNES emulation…but they’d make a killing if they sold that for five dollars on PSN, XBOX Live or whatever.
