imageKonami, who is now publishing Ninety-Nine Nights II, set a timeline for the game. It’s scheduled for spring 2010 in Japan.

And, that’s about it. No news about new characters, features, or confirmation of an international release. Although, it seems like that Ninety-Nine Nights II will be released worldwide. Gamefly has the game in their database and Ninety-Nine Nights II was rated by the OFLC in Australia with Konami as the publisher.

Before sending Ninety-Nine Nights II to battle swarms of games at retailers, Konami will ship Darksiders on March 18. They’re publishing Visual Studio’s game for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in Japan.

There’s quite a few action games coming out, like Nier and Darksiders, but Bayonetta and Dante’s Inferno seem to be the best of them, waiting for Bayo and pre-ordered Dante.

    • Heh, don’t call Nier an action game in front of Square Enix, though. The latest press release we got says, ” One more note – if your outlet still lists NIER erroneously as an “Action” game, plus update this to the more accurate ‘Action-RPG.’ ”

Bayonetta is great, enjoy it when you get it!

Lol, they corrected people of the genre? Wonder what RPG element it has.. the monsters do look cool, like Folklore or Ico. It’d be a shame if we only have the old man but not the pretty boy. From what I heard and what I tried of the demo, it seems to have set the bar higher for action game again, despite the over-the-top story, if there is one..

    • Hope FFXIII didn’t keep you in the dark for tooooo long. Enjoy Bayonetta when you get it. I’m about to DL the Dante’s Inferno demo.

I hope N3 II still has other interesting characters. The main character I see so far just isn’t doing much for me.

Man, thought you disappeared off the face of the earth! Unfortunately I didn’t like FF XIII as much as I had hoped, the pacing of the game just isn’t right, there aren’t even that many memorable scenes.. what are you doing Square Enix?! I thought the negative reviews came from picky people, but I have to agree w/ many of the issues brought up. It’s quite sad really, I remember I just couldn’t stop playing FF6 to 10, but now… That’s it, Sakaguchi needs to make another Lost Odyssey..N1 was one of my first 360 games and I didn’t like it too much since I’m not big on the Dynasty Warriors kind of game.. The Bayo and Dante’s Inferno left me wanting more though. You know the game will be alright if they demo is good. My emotional void is now being filled by watching the Korean drama “Winter Sonata” (long overdue), damn it is super sad and romantic…
