imageYuji Naka’s studio Prope is bringing Ivy the Kiwi? to the Wii and Nintendo DS, but Sega isn’t publishing it. Namco Bandai picked up Ivy the Kiwi? and are packaging it as a retail game.

We first saw a 50 stage version of Ivy the Kiwi? on Windows mobile phones. The Wii and DS game has 100 levels plus multiplayer modes. On the Nintendo DS, you draw lines with the stylus and can link up with up friends with download play. The Wii release has a split screen mode for up to four players and uses the remote for drawing.

Ivy the Kiwi? will retail for 3,990 yen ($44) when it comes out on April 22.

  • Aww how cute <3.
I bet it has 2 endings, the normal one, and the hard-to-attain one, where Ivy breaks out of its shell fully, revealing wings, hence the "?", since depending on the ending it is or isn't a kiwi.
