First Atelier Totori: Alchemist of Arland 2 Screens Are Spellbinding

By Spencer . March 26, 2010 . 1:12am

imageThe first batch of Atelier Totori: Alchemist of Arland 2 media popped out of Gust’s melting pot and, as expected, it’s bewitching.

Totori Helmond, a timid 13 year old girl, is the star of the game. She’s searching for her mother and Rorona is going to help her. Now 22 years old, Rorona takes Totori on as her first pupil. They are accompanied by Mimi, an affluent girl, and Jino, Totori’s childhood friend.

Will they find Totori’s mom or bake pies? That’s for you to decide on June 24 when Atelier Totori arrives in Japan.

Totori looks better and more polished than the first one.

    I can hardly wait.

  • Soma

    Looks stunning!
The outfits are really cute, too. I’ve been looking very forward to playing Rorona, and it will be even more satisfying to know that I’ll have this to play afterwards.
    :D

Also, finding lost mothers AND baking pies? What’s not to love?

  • Ereek

This one looks a good deal better than the first Rorona. I’m loving the graphical style here.

  • raymk

this actually looks better than the first and why couldn’t they use this look with at3. anyway i like their outfits and the overall look of the game is nice ;)

Woah, beautiful! I second the opinion that AT3 should be made in a similar style.

  • nyobzoo

    looks really good

  • doubletaco

Wow, that looks a lot better than Rorona. The models actually resemble the character art.

Past GUST experience led me to think that it’d look exactly the same as its predecessor, glad to see that’s not the case.

The graphical improvements to this title are quite surprising and impressive. I actually had to ask my self if the shots were character models were art or not.
