We can’t tell if this is an original game or a port of one of the previous ones. If anyone in the comments wagers they can figure it out, feel free to educate the rest of us.
This system is getting mostly ports. Even so. I hope it has backwards compatibility because I’m going to buy it if so.
It’s getting a fair number of ports to start off with. There’s little doubt it’ll get a lot more original software as time goes on.
And hey, we’re still fuzzy about some of the announced stuff – hopefully it’ll be cleared up in the next few days!
Looks like a remake of the first Samurai Warriors, but its been a long time since I played that.
I think I remember that ninja being in it, I believe he was Hatori Honzo.
it has to be either a new one, or a remake of 2,(or 3?) because Nagamasa azai(2nd pic down on the right) and the ninja are from samurai warriors 2….my hopes is that its 3 with the missing characters…
I never post here but you forced me to.
ARE YOU BLIND?! Even if you haven’t played played SW1 recently, you can tell by the screenshots that those characters were NOT in SW1.
The design of the characters are the current Samurai Warriors 3 outfits.
So either this game is SW3 ported from the Wii to 3DS or a spin-off with SW3 elements.
Why Samurai Warriors?? Why not Fist of the North Star: Ken’s Rage??
I want to make sure of something, can or cannot NDSlite play 3ds games because from the screenshoots it seems that 3ds have much better graphics then dslite.
3DS can play Lite games but not the other way around.
*Koei Tecmo is announcing Samurai Warriors for 3DS*
Banballow: I’m real happy for ya, and Imma let ya finish… but Earth Defense Force would be the one of the best 3DS game of all time… ONE OF THE BEST 3DS GAME, OF ALL TIME!!!
I know most of the games being announced right now are working titles, but I sure hope all of them don’t go along the lines of “original game name + 3D”. Sticking 3D to everything would make the titles sound a lil stupid imho.
Maybe just have a symbol/sign identifying that the game is in 3D or has 3D features on the game cases, and keep the original names without the 3D tag.
