Sorry, Super Dimension Game Neptune fans. The PlayStation 3 RPG about the video game industry won’t be ready this month.

Compile Heart pushed its release back a few weeks from July 29 to August 19. No specific reason was given, but know that Compile Heart is really sorry for delaying the game. That’s what their notice said.

Well, its ok, is a great idea for a game and it seems to be bringing lot of attention, its better not to rush it! Better to push back than a game with bugs

Hmm, that means I could get it shipped together with ACE:R, good news for me I guess!

It’s pretty much confirmed U.S. release so why get the import unless you can fluently speak Japanese? A.C.E: R I could understand considering its pretty much impossible to get any publisher to try to get that game outside Japan due to multiple license issues. This story, like SEGAGAGA I would want to fully know since the subject matter is something completely different than the standard JRPG fare.

I keep wondering about the issues with A.C.E: R .How many of those anime that those robots come from are published by BANDAI? If a majority of them were , could make things a little easier, well if they were even interested in localizing it for other markets.

I often buy both the japanese and western releases of RPGs, sometimes just for collections sake, sometimes because I just cant wait, I’m a bit of an RPG addict so you can be sure I’ll be getting the US release day 1 too ;)

As for ACE:R, it’s a shame, Bandai do own most of the licences but the guys who own the Macross license are supposedly completely unreasonable

Possibly they discovered a couple bugs and wanted to fix them. If so, good on them.

  • Kris

That’s fine by me! Give this one the time it deserves to make it as good as possible.

  • Electrium

I’ll wait as long as it takes for this one!

I would suspect there were a couple more bugs they wanted ironed out. Good for them. They seem to know this is a really good game and want it to make a nice splash!

Take as long as you need, Compile Heart. I’ll wait. Impatiently, I’ll grant you, but I’ll wait just the same!

  • lordryo

Take your time, as impatient as I am, I’ll wait for this one.
