Yoshinori Ono Shows Love For LovePlus

Look what turned up at Street Fighter IV producer, Yoshinori Ono’s office.

Ono-san was so happy, he tweeted about his new gift, too. “Uh, ah, Konami’s Love Plus producer Uchida-san has sent me an amazing CD!” he said. “I’m completely smitten now… forget work.”

Later, in two separate tweets, he responded to a fan query, asking which of the girls is his favourite: “Rinko!! Rinko’s said “I love Fighting game!'”

Blanka sure doesn’t look happy about Rinko stealing Ono’s attention. As of this post, Rinko has yet to comment on the matter.

  • Something about Blanka in that pic just makes me think of Animal from The Muppets.

Ono-san is a mortal after all lol.. I swear no men won’t be smitten by these gals, they’re just so gosh darn cute. Rinko said she knows how to fight, in arcade fighting games that is :) One way to greet her is to do a karate chop, and she would kick you back, but later on I poke her..I wonder what CD is that… I know there’s one single “Eien no Diary” sung by the group, and another one coming soon, the char singles and CD drama (I wasn’t too familiar the newbie Hayami Saori before, but she’s quite cute as Manaka), but I never saw this one.. I’m quite tempted in collecting the Nendroids..http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-71-8x-49-en-70http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-71-8x-49-en-70http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-71-8x-49-en-70

    • Whoa! Those are hefty prices, even for Nendriods.
I looked up AmiAmi and they have them for about 2,500 yen
I actually got the little charms of them. They were too cute to resist but they’re so tiny.

As for the CD, it looks like a soundtrack for Love Plus +

Thanks for the Amiami links man. Actually I looked up their site and found their price to be much better on most stuffs, I’m considering getting these 3 Nendroids together.. I recently ordered from them for the first time and got Deathsmiles II LE because it was so much cheaper than everywhere else. You got their personal animal (rabbit/cat/raccoon) keychains?! I so want them as a set but they’re sold out :(.. Cool, looks like an OST for the new Love Plus +, but the new song “Hohoemi Photograph” is only the short ver.. no wonder Ono is happy :) I want to squeeze Nene-san’s round Tanuki tail :)

        • Yeah, I was gonna send you AmiAmi links too, but I was beaten. Since you’d be preordering it anyways. Another good store is http://www.1999.co.jp but their prices aren’t as great as AmiAmi’s.

Thanks, they ship outside Jpn right, are these guys reliable? I’ve imported from Play-Asia, YesAsia, and NCSX for years and they have excellent service and prices for the most part so I haven’t looked elsewhere (other than on ebay occasionally, I used to buy CDs/DVDs from cdjapan.co.jp too, but not much now). I just discovered AmiAmi recently when somebody brought it up. I could’ve saved some money if I knew earlier, they give great discounts and offer cheap shipping option unlike Amazon Jpn which adds a minimum 2000 yen up front, canceling whatever good price they have. I don’t know how good are they w/ pre-order bonus when it comes to games though, they just shipped Deathsmiles 2 to me, I hope they included the DLC music card.. NCSX is the best in that regard because they are very frank and clear about it.

          • I’ve only ordered recently from AmiAmi, and I’ve been using Hobby Search a lot (whoops! I gave you the Japanese site on accident, they have an English site). They both ship outside Japan and very reliable. I believe AmiAmi tells you if you whether or not if you preorder bonus on the product page (I preordered Project Diva from them). I know that both AmiAMi and Hobby Search have pretty good customer service, I’ve changed orders by email, and they respond pretty quickly. Otherwise that’s all I can think of right now :)

          • I use YesAsia/PlayAsia a lot for importing CDs because they’re reasonably priced and have great shipping, but geez, their figure prices are ridiculous!

          • Aoshi00

yea, I wasn’t really going to order the Nendroids from either P-A or Y-A when I saw their prices.. for games and soundtracks they’re great. Thing is when I placed my Deathsmiles 2 LE order w/ AmiAmi, I left a comment specifying do not process order unless DLC card is included, I don’t know if they paid any attention.. After the item is shipped, I sent them two e-mails asking if the DLC card was included, all I got was “confirm your item has been shipped”, so that makes me a little worried now.. well, it’s just music, at least it’s not like the cutscene voices for the first Deathsmiles, that’s still not included in the US ver! at least I don’t feel as bad blowing $30 on a DLC card now lol.. these pre-order DLC really gets you..

          • I know how it is with pre-order bonuses…-____- I ordered a waaaay more expensive Project Diva package, just to get some special exclusive Ami-Ami goodies and the pre-order bonus. If I were you I’d shoot an email to their customer service. Plus since it’s a pre-order, you can still cancel it. But I can understand your feelings.

The game was shipped alrdy and on its way, I bought it way after its release, so.. the LE was sold everywhere for over $100 and now it’s only around $70 + shipping so I jumped on it, I didn’t think it was worth it because Deathsmiles 2 is not as good as the first game, not to mention the cheap looking 3D models :(… their disclaimer says pre-order bonus is only at a first come first serve basis. I figure they have 5 copies in stock so I took my chance getting it, but they haven’t answered my question.. now I’m keeping my fingers crossed. Again, thanks for the recommendation of these sellers as an alternative for anime goodies :)

Oh man, should the day arrive that Rinko can, in fact, comment, Japan and maybe all of gamerkind are good as finished.
