Crossover Eroge Fighter Coming To Wii Next Month

By Spencer . July 14, 2010 . 12:43pm

imageMilestone set August 26 as the date for Twinkle Queen, a 2D fighting game with a bizarre mashup. Twinkle Queen takes girls from four eroge visual novels and throws them into the ring. Three characters from each series are in the game for a total of twelve announced fighters.

Just like Tatsunoko vs. Capcom, each character has light, medium, and strong attacks. Twinkle Queen also has a partner system. You can call change characters as a defensive move or call an ally out for a switch out attack.

Twinkle Queen supports a Classic Controller configuration and you’ll probably want to have one of those handy if you import it. Right now, Twinkle Queen is only slated for Japan.

  • I want to see a doujin fighting game with the characters from Sono Hanabira ni Kuchizuke wo. There’s enough characters in it now that it could work.

I’m still wondering why characters from G-Senjou no Maou is in this game…

ME to ME to but i guess they can fit the bill i just wish others like akaiito would have made it.

      • FHOIW

I’ve only read Aoi Shiro, the “sequel”, and I actually think they’d fit since they practice Kendo.

  • Justinzero

This looks kind of cool. Yet another import to add to my already very large list.

If this game turns out to be good, then I’ll keep my fingers crossed for a US release… not that I’d even expect a US release either way, but hey, stranger things have happened.

  • If this gets brought over to the US, I’d be happy. Heck, I want a TRUE arcade/console fighting game (which has a minimum of 3 buttons, actual joystick movements like charge forward, QCF, QCB, DP, HCB, HCF, 360), and WiFi, since REAL fighting games are missing on the Wii, I’d buy this.

As a Wii owner, I’d love to see a LEGIT fighting game that has those 2 minimum requirements. SSB does not and NEVER counts as a fighting game, since it NEVER has those two elements.

    • Tatsunoko vs. Capcom didn’t do it for you?

      • I’m hungrier for MORE fighting games. Besides, the graphics whores, PS360 owners, got MORE fighting games than Wii owners do, yet the PS360 graphics whores want TvC, acting as if SFIV, MvC2, SFIIHD Turbo, SSFIV are not enough.

        • It makes me laugh that the non-Wii owners are apparently jealous that they didn’t get Tatsunoko vs. Capcom. Now that they’re getting Marvel vs. Capcom 3, they’ve all shut up about it.

    – Characters from eroge
    – Released in the US

  • Doesn’t seem very “eroge” ;_; but I do regognize someone from Koihime Musou! Just not one of my favorites. ;_;

Anyways, yay for more totally out of the blue unexpected games and fighting games for wii!

I want a Queen’s Blade fighter ;_; NamcoBandai, Banpresto, Soul Calibur team, it’s your destiny!

    • raymk

Its not usually when they make an anime or game from an eroge they drop that eroge part :). Koihime musou is the only one i know of and i don’t see kanu or sei which or my favorits. Theirs hidden characters though and the fighting system looks good which can be seen on the offical site so i’m game either way :)

  • krokounleashed

We need this over here in europe.

Probably the most random release I’ve seen…
It’s awesome though…will be getting it.

    • mirumu

Same here. I loved the sound of this game from day one. Don’t really buy many Wii games, but this has to be an exception. I hope the partner system allows pairings of characters from different series. If so my Ameri Kawai+Agnes Boulange combination will be unstoppable. Muuhahaha!

  • Haha, okay Japan, but enough with the crossovers. Seriously.

  • They all look so angry! >:(
Very curious to see how this plays… even if it’s only through video.
