Radiant Historia Box Art Lookin’ Right Back At You

By Spencer . August 13, 2010 . 4:33pm

Radiant Historia Box Art Lookin’ Right Back At YouAtlus released the box art for Radiant Historia, which has Eruca gazing at whoever gives it a glance. Hiroshi Konishi, the character designer of Radiata Stories, did the artwork for Atlus’ game.

The Nintendo DS game is also coming out a day earlier than expected. Atlus changed the release date of Radiant Historia from November 4 to November 3, which means its going on sale on Culture Day, a national holiday in Japan.

I hope Atlus localize this one :D

    It’s interesting…

I would say there’s a big chance they will. Though they now refuse to localize other companies’ games (Luminous Arc 3, Endless Frontier Exceed) they rarely skip their japanese counterpart’s.

… yeah, still bitter about LA3.

Sting is a separate company of Atlus, and Atlus still localizes their games.

Sting and Atlus have a deal, though, so Sting games are basically Atlus games now.

Good thing you added that bit about Culture Day, I was about to go all sarcastic about the one day earlier thing.I hope this gets localized. The art style is pretty and the story interesting.

Looks great.I… I’m one of the few who loved Radiata Stories, including the character designs. So yeah, I love this game’s art style. And, another yeah, I know it won’t be too similar to Radiata but it still LOOKS nice. That’s all I can say now; I obviously haven’t played it or know a whole lot about it. From what I do know, it’s pretty different.

Even so, something of a throwback to the old game, maybe in the form of cameos would be pretty entertaining…

I love Radiata Stories too :D

Yeah, the art looks different now

Don’t worry, you’re not alone. I absolutely loved Radiata Stories.

And yes, it does look different. It just seems like it’s missing a Jack-like character, you know?

localization!!! and luminous arc 3 as well T_T, you cant miss the last one Atlus US

Nice plan.Launching the game on a holiday gives people more chance to buy it.
But I hope the reception of this game is not very high.Because I can’t stand prequels, sequels, midquels and interquels.

Oh wow. After hearing all the hate for the game on message boards, I figured fans of the game were rare or didn’t exist and I was an alien or something. Cool to know I’m not the only one. I still think about that game, you know? It’s been a while, but I still remember it fondly. …Thanks, guys.

    *sniff*

Man, I hope Konishi does an artbook someday. I’d buy a “Radiata Material Collection”, especially since I don’t think Radiata Stories got an artbook. (Maybe I missed it, but I only saw game guides…which always seem to be hit and miss for artwork.)

I love the cover art :D
