Black Rock Shooter Becoming An RPG

Someone is hyping up a Black Rock Shooter RPG. A teaser site popped up with this video.

 

 

It says, “In 2032 AD mankind was destroyed. Before she wakes up. She becomes RPG.” No word on a publisher or platform.

    I’ve always liked the character designs for this series, but never saw the OVA. Maybe an action RPG could be interesting for this one.

    Why do I get the feeling that this is all a troll, that it’s not the genre RPG but some kind of form that happens to have the abbreviation RPG?

    Calling it now: PSP or DS. Now one going to want to put the money and effort into a title of this level for a PS3 or 360 title.

    What’s BRS anyway? I remember hearing it was some sort of Miku song, but why don’t they make a Miku RPG and anime instead of this?

      Yeah there is a Black Rock Shooter OVA, but the plot’s not really polished. I mean, the OVA was based on a roughly 5 minute song + illustration on NicoNico..

    Definitely liking the look, gives me a slight .hack vibe. I’d put money on it being for PSP but I could see it being a PS3 PhyreEngine game too, that one model in the teaser KINDA looks neptune-y

    Action RPG for the PSP most likely, I liked the OVA so it should be interesting.

    I must admit I am a bit lost on the craze over this character? Whats the deal with her. One min she was just some picture I found on pixiv the next shes is everywhere.

      Just because of that single picture made by Huke, god Ryo felt inspired to create a music of it. Soon this song became so famous in Nico Douga that they announced in a live concert, “Miku’s Day” if i’m correct, the pilot animation of brs.
