Blueside Demos Kingdom Under Fire II Controls For PS3

By Spencer . November 19, 2010 . 12:19am

Along with the PlayStation 3 announcement, Blueside released a new Kingdom Under Fire II video. This trailer shows the game’s large scale battles spliced with bits of the team developing the title.

While the movie shows the PC version, Blueside explains how Kingdom Under Fire II will work with a PlayStation 3 controller at the very end.

Did anyone else find it funny how the the trailer flashes a group of fully armored male warriors and then goes straight to a bunch of nearly naked elves? Of course, Blueside isn’t the first company to create a fantasy world where all female characters wear magical bras with +50 armor, but the contrast in the trailer is like night and day.

    “where all female characters wear magical bras with +50 armor”

    awesome O_O

    this looks like a combination of RTS and Hack and Slash games.

    can’t wait for it :)

    Well the reason why is obvious; if the men wore the bras with +50 armor, the Orcs would laugh at them opo;

  • neocatzon

    the men (I hope) wear magical fundoshi with +80 armor with blind status to enemy

    Looks like the direction Dynasty Warriors & Samurai Warriors should have evolved to gameplay wise

    That’s a LOT of simultaneous battle action going on at once with some pretty advanced lighting and heavy animation. I’ll be very surprised if they manage to make it look anything close to that on the consoles. The best I’ve seen on the PS3 with so many troops on screen is Heavenly Sword, and Ninety-Nine Nights on the 360. In both cases the enemies were mostly waiting on *you*, and it weren’t nearly as frantic.

    It’s not high fantasy if if the men aren’t dressed like tanks and the women aren’t in dental floss… :)

    So does this have any single player or is this just an MMO?
