Double Trouble? No, Double The Trouble Witches Neo Trailers

By Spencer . November 25, 2010 . 5:18pm

Wondering how Trouble Witches Neo is different from other fantasy-themed shooters? This trailer explains how to use the risk vs. reward Magical Barrier system to transform bullets into gold.

You can use the money to buy magic cards that give players access to different firing patterns. It appears the Xbox 360 game has some new cards. The video shows decoy, which lets players create a shadow witch that the enemies target instead.

Trouble Witches Neo is slated for a winter release worldwide.

  • When did this get ported?

  • It’s only a matter of time, Touhou…only a matter of time, and one day, you will be next. *Lydia smirk*

Wow this looks real nice. I loved Death Smiles. DS was def more old school than this in term of gameplay. i like the little bullet system.

Ikaruga tho was gold imo. the whole polar shift idea was insane. I still havn’t opened my DC version and i didn’t the GC went for so much now wow…
Still have it. it was 19.99 new when it came out.

All companies should release videos like this detailing scoring systems for shooters. I will most definitely be buying this game.

    PS3 release. NOW.

It’s rather surprising that all of these great shooters are getting released exclusively for the 360, when it does so poorly in Japan…

It been said countless times that 360 is the machine for niche games like shooters and VNs in Japan. There is a small but dedicated group of fans and seeing that they keep releasing these for 360, it must be profitable enough for these companies.

Ah, I’ve never heard that before…
Well, regardless, I am rather jealous of 360 owners…
I wish that we PS3 owners got a lot of the shooters and VNs you guys get,
and even a lot of the other DLC you guys get here in the West…

I don’t actually own a 360, but from what others who are more knowledgeable have said in the past in other Siliconera articles, that’s basically the reason for all these 360 shooters and VNs.

I’m a bit envious of all the VNs myself, but what can you do? I haven’t yet come to the point where I feel the need to buy a 360….and I probably won’t seeing most of the VNs are Japan-only and I can’t read Japanese.
