Earth Seeker Begins A Thousand Years After This Spaceship Crashes

By Spencer . December 9, 2010 . 1:18am

In the future, mankind evacuates Earth in search of a new home. Ships are equipped with computers sophisticated enough to terraform a planet to feel like the Earth we know today, but when one ship crash lands onto a barren world it creates a unique group of monsters. This is how Earth Seeker, a Wii game developed by Crafts & Meister, begins.

The creatures helping the human-like being are called Guardians. Give them alcohol and they’ll assist you, apparently with powerful ice and fire attacks. If you’ve been following Earth Seeker you may recognize the monster in the video. Its a Protopros, a fusion of an insect and a railgun.

  • ps2 graphics pwnz. Those little things remind me to a mmoprg called soul master, dunno if someone have played it…

lol watsup with the dorky getup xD. sorry haha, it looks hilarious =P

Art direction is good, main character design is original and interesting. The sword looks sick but I hope there are more weapons. I don’t really care much about the 3 “helpers”- I would rather have a female character similar to Monica from Dark Cloud 2 that specializes in magic and is controlled by the AI. That boss is tight though. I don’t have a WII but I’m very excited for this game.

The main character is female. :) But I gotcha.

I like the little guys though. Especially the one with a PS Move on his head.

    A Certain Insectoid Raingun, eh…

From the premise and what I saw, I have a feeling the magnitude and scale of this game is going to be enormous.

Another game that, if localized, adds to my desire for a Wii.

for some reason the sword reminded me of Xenoblade, and the Guardians looks like one of those littles one’s from Monster Hunter.

With an Enslaved/God Eater/Fist of the North Star backdrop

I’m liking the looks of this game, it fills me with the same curiosity that Phantasy Star Online did way back in the day >w<'

  • I don’t understand… they leave Earth to find a planet to terraform to become like Earth… but they end up crash landing on Earth?

Oh wow this looks good. This is exactly the sort of game the Wii needs more of. Hopefully somebody will localize this.
